 1. Our team Chemical Device

- In this section, I will briefly describe my team chemical device.

Office cleaners need to devise a way of sterilizing the door handle every single time a person touches it to prevent infectious disease from spreading. Our team selected Door handle steriliser as our chemical device idea. 


- Below is the hand sketch of the chemical device.


When the sensor is activated, the sterilizer turns on the UV light and the green LED light is activated. After that it will start to rotate to the bottom of the handle to ensure that the bottom is sterilized. It will then turn off the UV light and then rotate back to its original resting position on the top of the handle and the red LED is then activated.

Learning reflection:

I felt that the project development is quite successful considering that all of the teammates have to juggle our tests and to make the steriliser. I personally felt that I could be more proactive initiative in terms of helping my teammates. I also learnt that I should also inform my teammates first before I decided to do something because initially I was supposed to do the laser cutting for the caution sign but one of my teammates, Isabella told me that she and Fion had already done the laser cutting. Althought it was a kind of pity, I could not showcase my laser cutting skill, but I am appreciative that they wanted to keep me less busy. I also realised that we should not leave things to the last minute. I enjoyed the
